Droperidol
BHS Pharmacy will begin to add Droperidol to the orange drug boxes the first week of March 2023. Please take the time to become familiar with the protocols, indications, and use of the new medication to our command system. After reviewing the protocols, podcast, and references, Take the training evaluation by clicking the link above "Training Evaluation". You are not permitted to use the medication until the evaluation is completed. The evaluation is submitted to Dr. Patton and John upon completion.
To identify the boxes that contain the new medication, the letter “D” will be written on the label on the outside of the box. The letter “T” for Toradol will phased out. The photo below indicates the location of the small vial in the top tray.
